Chairman and Founder

Sukhendu is Chairman and Founder of Sirius & Company. He works with the board members of Fortune 500 companies as well as helping start-up founders to grow their businesses. More recently, Sukhendu was the head of Citigroup’s Emerging Markets covering 72 countries generating over £10 billion revenue. While at Citigroup, Sukhendu conceived the idea “Taking the bank to clients” and subsequently he led the CitiDirect programme, which was the first digital banking platform in the world. Sukhendu invested in numerous start-ups and SMEs, many of which became successful businesses in technology, fintech, communications and healthcare industries.

Prior to Citigroup, Sukhendu was a Vice President of Oracle Corporation. He joined Oracle when it was a start-up. During his eleven-year tenure, Oracle exhibited phenomenal growth, from $12.9 million to over $5 billion. Sukhendu co-founded Oracle’s global financial services business and helped it to grow to a highly profitable multi-million dollar operation.

Sukhendu participates in many international business forums and an invited contributor to many global publications. He is an advocate of equality and inclusiveness. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Sheffield, UK, and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
